Body Work Modalities: Circulatory (Swedish) Massage Induces relaxation of the muscles, stress relief of the mind, and circulation of blood and lymph through the body promoting release of toxins. Deep Tissue Sculpting - (Sports Massage) An effective technique used to release chronic tension in fascia, muscles, and bones. It also releases soft tissue tension and pain from stress, overexertion, certain injuries and illnesses. Craniosacral Massage Is a gentle, meditative form of bodywork that focuses on the bones of the head, spinal column, sacrum, and the underlying tissues. The main objective of this work is to find physical or metaphysical restrictions in these areas, and use awareness and specifically designed techniques to release them. This massage is very light and leaves you feeling peaceful and relaxed. Thailand Massage Working with Thai Zen lines, utilizes a series of presses and stretches to relax muscles, increase agility, balance, stress relief, and circulation of blood and lymph promoting the release of toxins. This technique is performed in yoga clothing on a floor mat on its own and can be incorporated into a table session. Seitai Shiatsu Working with TCM meridians, utilizes hand techniques to relieve obstruction of blood and lymph in the body, while boosting the immune system and promoting detoxification. This is a vigorous massage; a full body can be done in 30 minutes. This technique is performed in yoga clothing on a floor mat on its own and can be incorporated into a table session. Tui Na Massage Utilizes hand techniques to restore correct anatomical musculoskeletal relationships, neuromuscular patterns, and to increase the circulation of blood and qi to remove biochemical irritants. This technique is great for sports injuries, whiplash, and more. This is a very deep technique. Hot Stone Massage Water heated basalt stones are used with circulatory techniques combined with stationary placement on the body. This promotes pain relief, stress relief, increased joint flexibility, and better sleep. Cupping Therapy A traditional Eastern Medicine technique that uses various types of suction devices placed on the surface of the skin. Promotes blood circulation and cell activities, relieving pain and edema. Can be added to other therapeutic sessions. Aromatherapy Utilizes essential oils to assist in achieving relaxation through sense of smell and application. Can be added to any session or on its on as a body wrap.
